Partners & Funders

Partners & Funders

Strong partnerships are the backbone of the RCD of Santa Cruz County. The RCD specializes in bridging gaps between private landowners and public agencies, and solving problems through the creation of partnerships, traditional and non-traditional. The list below includes many of the partners we work with, and/or receive funding from, to provide conservation services around the County.

Operating funds are drawn from local taxes, additional County funding, grants, partnerships, and fundraising activities. The RCD has been very successful in leveraging limited local tax funds to bring millions of dollars for natural resource projects in Santa Cruz County.
