Financial Support

Financial Support

fundingThe RCD is funded primarily through private, state, and federal grants. Many of these grant programs include funding which can be used to provide assistance to homeowners, landowners, residents, farmers, and ranchers that want to carry out conservation projects on their land or in the community. This financial assistance may be in the form of financial assistance for project design or construction, or may be in the form of landowner rebates. Additionally, projects qualifying for the “Permit Coordination” program may be eligible for reduced cost or no cost permits.

If your project is eligible, the RCD may also provide access to cost-share assistance through the USDA NRCS’ Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) program or other NRCS programs.

Applications are currenlty being accepted for the following cost-share and rebate programs:

Funding availability is dependent on specific programs and grants, and is not guaranteed. Contact the RCD to see if what funding may be available for your project.
