About Pajaro Compass Network
The Pajaro Compass is a voluntary network of landowners and managers, public agencies, conservation organizations, funders, and elected officials with a common interest in maintaining a healthy and productive Pajaro River watershed. The Pajaro River watershed is an area of approximately 1,300 square miles, and includes portions of three mountain ranges (Santa Cruz, Gabilan and Diablo) and four counties (Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, San Benito and Monterey).  It includes productive farms and ranches, rich natural areas, and culturally significant places. The Pajaro Compass provides a gateway for participants to learn, connect, and engage in conservation efforts throughout the watershed that promote healthy soils, clean water, productive landscapes, and habitat for native wildlife.

Twice a year, the Pajaro Compass Network convenes a meeting to discuss topics of interest to the network community. The theme of this Spring's meeting, to be held on Wednesday April 24 at the City of Watsonville Community Room, is "One Watershed, Many Perspectives: Partnerships in the Pajaro. The meeting will feature networking opportunities, two speaker panels and an optional tour by the Pajaro Valley Water Management Agency of how water gets recycled at the Watsonville Wastewater Plant.
