Angie came to the RCD with a wealth of sales, marketing, and program management experience from Silicon Valley start-ups and local environmental non-profits. She joined the RCD in 2005 as the Livestock and Land Program Specialist and has been thrilled to see program participation nearly triple.
Angie currently manages the Rural Road Erosion Control Assistance Program and the Stormwater Program and plays double duty as the RCD Communications Specialist where she is able to put her graphics and communications skills to work. She loves working with the community and supporting local land owners and has been inspired by their enthusiasm and openness for resource conservation on their properties. She looks forward to facilitating the continued growth and success of the RCD programs.
Outside of the RCD Angie volunteers for local watershed efforts, is infatuated with exploring local creeks and streams, and is always up for a good rock climb or mountain bike ride in Nisene Marks State Park. Angie has been in Santa Cruz since the age of three, attended Cabrillo College and San Jose State University and proudly served in the United States Air Force Reserves. She currently lives in Soquel and enjoys spending time with her two stepsons and two dogs.
